There's an old saying. We used to tell it to young athletes, back in the days when we used athletics to impart to our children the ethics of sportsmanship, responsibility, and personal integrity; to prepare them to face the challenges of adult life. "You don't brag when you win, and you don't cry when you lose." There's no point in trying to win battles already lost. It's time to focus on the next fight, on November. There's only one thing left to do.
